Program Overview
Sisters of Code Ambassadors program is a train the trainer 15-week long program with lessons on the weekend. It is designed to equip participants with important skills in online protection, coding, game and animation, and website development, as well as project management and leadership. Additionally, participants will receive exclusive access to a work-readiness program developed in partnership with Deloitte, preparing them for interviews, CV revision and setting up career goals.
Sisters of Code Ambassadors 2025 program is structured to ensure a gradual and immersive learning experience. Each module builds upon the previous one, providing participants with a strong foundation in technical skills and professional readiness. Guided by experienced professionals, you will engage with a globally recognized curriculum and gain inspiration from accomplished role models.
This comprehensive training is designed to equip participants with both technical expertise and the leadership skills necessary to create a meaningful impact in their communities and careers. Classes are conducted on weekends in two flexible formats:
Group 1: In-person sessions at IT Academy STEP Cambodia, Toul Kork Campus (Phnom Penh).
Group 2: Online classes, ideal for students from provinces who cannot attend in-person lessons.
Timeline and Curriculum
Week 1: Cybersecurity and Internet Protection
Understand the basics of online safety, focusing on how to protect your digital identity in today’s interconnected world.
Weeks 2–3: Visual Coding Basics with Code.org
Begin your coding journey with visual programming tools, building foundational skills and problem-solving techniques that will set the stage for future learning.
Weeks 4–5: Game Development with Scratch
Dive into game development, using Scratch to design interactive games and animations that will foster creativity while strengthening your coding abilities.
Weeks 6–9: Web Development with WIX and HTML
Learn how to create professional websites, combining user-friendly WIX tools with HTML coding to develop both design and technical skills.
Weeks 10–11: Artificial Intelligence
Explore the fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence, understanding key concepts and how AI is shaping the future of technology.
Week 12: Leadership Development and Presentation Skills
Build leadership skills and learn effective communication techniques that will help you present ideas confidently and inspire others.
Week 13: Project Planning and Management
Gain valuable project management skills, learning how to plan, execute, and lead projects with efficiency and impact.
Weeks 14–15: Work Readiness Program
Prepare for the professional world with guidance from Deloitte, focusing on essential workplace skills and building the confidence to excel in any career path.
Graduation event and award ceremony to celebrate the achievements and welcome new Sisters of Code clubs leaders for the graduates and their families.
Who Can Be A Sisters of Code Ambassador?
Sisters of Code Ambassadors 2025 program is designed for female students passionate about technology, education, and creating positive change in their communities. This free training opportunity is ideal for those who wish to join the Sisters of Code community, lead training sessions, or enhance their skills as ICT educators.
Eligibility Requirements:
Profile: Cambodian female, aged 18 or older.
Skills: Basic IT knowledge (e.g., HTML and CSS) and basic English skills.
Interests: A passion for teaching and inspiring other girls to explore technology and a commitment to establishing and running Sisters of Code Clubs.
Why Join the Program?
Upon graduation, participants will:
Gain recognition as a Sisters of Code Ambassador
Receive a certificate of completion and access to teaching materials to establish Sisters of Code Clubs in their schools or communities.
Be eligible for paid part-time trainer roles and ongoing mentorship if assessed as capable to lead a coding club, that includes also monthly stipend.
Develop the skills and confidence to lead and make a lasting impact in their communities.

Interested candidates must complete the online application form by December 15, 2024.
